We are so humbled and grateful for the response to the initial alpha release of UDG. There are now a couple of bugs that have been reported by multiple people that we want to make new players aware of until the first update is released.

1) Tutorial level does not load correctly. We will be de-activating this course in the next update until the full tutorial is complete, the idea for a tutorial course came well after the initial alpha release date was set so it will take a bit more time to make that work how we envision. If you try to load the tutorial course you may need to manually close and restart the game. Please use the single-player courses for now.

2) Once your throw is in the basket make sure to wait until the hole completion event is triggered. There is currently an internal "timer" on the basket that starts once the disc is in the basket. Right now if you run up and overlap your disc while in the basket but before the timer is complete (4 seconds) it will try and trigger another throw. Simply waiting long enough after making it in will get around this bug (fix for this will be included with first alpha update).

3) If your disc is thrown into an area that the player cannot teleport ie. in heavy brush, steep terrain, etc. and you press the teleport button it will lock your player in place making you unable to move. The teleport mechanic is much earlier in terms of development than other parts of the game, for now the best way around this bug is to only teleport to the next tee, or when your throw is on the fairway. This mechanic will be regularly updated throughout alpha.

Getting as much great feedback as possible at this early stage is extremely important, but we understand some may want to wait or may try it out and decide it's too early for them.  If you want to be a part of building up UDG into the game we know it will eventually, be please feel welcome to join the UDG Discord where alpha testers / players will get the quickest support and report bugs etc.

It was an amazing experience for our team to see the screenshots, comments, streams, and reactions from everyone. That alone has already made the effort we've put into UDG worth it.
